2002 - Scholarship Recipient
Amy Lynn Johnston of Olathe, KS
Amy has been involved for two years in a traveling
science museum sponsored by the Faraday Society. Her focus on the museum pieces has been
different qualities of light. Her goal for the future is to organize a hands-on science
museum which would be open to all people interested in all fields of science. She also wants
people to get past the science stigma - people sitting at lab tables all day and counting
drops in test tubes. She plans on majoring in Chemistry at KSU.
